Started as a test on a new wall shape. The wall as you see on the ground floor with the wider lower part and the corner pieces with the same wider lower parts. It took about a year to make the other ground floor wall parts but from there I build the entire structure in one flow.
To break the surface of the large grey walls I added a wooden section on the second floor, used the coloring of the roof tiles from the previous test on the “White Gate” and experimented on an entirely new shape and color on the roof section.
The basic shape of the roof is cut “Free Hand” out of Styrodur. Textured with thin pieces of Styrodur, suggesting a roof build out of metal plates of some sort.
More information on “Painting” and “Free Hand” cutting, check out the “Tutorial” section.
