Catan, as an all-time favorite, deserves to be played on a 3D game board. So I took a bunch of 6 sided tiles and started sculpting the different landscapes using self-hardening clay. I made a form and cast them in resin. Painted with acrylic paints and there it is. My own original 3D Catan playing surface.
