Master Nylon Ykes, the “Sail Makers” house:

Nylon Ykes runs a successful sail making company in town.
A merry man with a regular family live. (for once!)
His oldest son, Carl Lager Ykes also joined the company last year and he has a promising future as sail designer ahead of him. Nylon and his wife Lycra also have a daughter called Coco.
She is not interested in fabrics, she wants to join the navy when she grows up.

Ykes is an immigrant from elsewhere. He actually does not know where he comes from himself but this doesn’t bother him.
As a little baby he was adopted by the Sail makers family Gucciliano.
Here he learned the profession of sail making and soon started to develop his own line in trendy sails.
The Gucciliano family has passed away and today it’s Nylon’s company that is leading in the sail making industry. There are other small sail making businesses like the “Sails ‘R Us” and “K-Sails” but Nylon doesn’t see these price fighters as a threat.

The house of the Ykes family was designed by Lycra Ykes who called in the help of Jaques Coesteau who is the local fisherman and part-time architect.
