Tips & Tricks on Miniatures

In this page I like to share some “nice to know” things on miniatures. Although there are lots of nice things to know, I will expand this topic slowly since there are many fields that ask attention. But at least I made a start.

Transporting miniatures:

My first tip is on moving your investment around in a save way. I bought a large hard plastic case with drawers and divided the drawers into tiny pockets that are about 2/3rd of an inch high. I used ribbons of cardboard and covered them with a soft cloth. In this way the miniatures do not collide with one another, are kept in place and you use the space in the case at a maximum. The photo’s give you an idea how it works. In the third photo the drawer is kept at a very steep angle. (over 45 degrees) You see it all stays in place without any damage.
