This is the house of old Captain Knucklebones.

Stories tell us that captain Knucklebones has sailed all corners of the 7 seas in his younger days.
He encountered many dangers, fought numerous battles and gained lots of wealth in doing so.

Now that his days at sea are over. He build himself a nice house at the harbour entrance.
From this location he still can see, smell and feel the sea he loves so much.
Knucklebones does not go out much and people often wander if he is still alive.
But every now and then he goes out to get some ink and a new feather pen since he is writing his memoirs.

A well known rumour is hat, although Knucklebones is a wealthy man,
he did all the possible to cut on building costs of his house.
This is why he used all the left over timber from the old shipyard just around the corner of his house.
One day a small sailing ships that was being build for a wealthy merchant here in town, was stolen from the shipyard.
It remains a mystery up until this day why this ship was stolen since the ship was only half finished and its hull was far from completion.
Shortly after this strange incident the big moment was there, the house of captain Knucklebones was finished.
People from all over town came to the harbour to see this wondrous building they heard so much about.
While the crowd looked upon the new house in great amazement, Knucklebones girlfriend was shocked, and walked from the scene,
leaving Knucklebones behind in great confusion.

To some of the workers of the old shipyard the façade gave them a the strange feeling of recognition.
They kept on wandering why but they never got their finger on it.
