The Elves page, home of the High Elves. A noble and colorfull race.
This is the army I'm working on for the last six years. I paint every now and then and since I painted 1/3rd of the entire
army, it will take up to 2015 to finish it.

The regiments:
All my regiments are around 22 models in size. They all have their own Hero, musician and standard bearer.
There will be 9 regiments of infantry In total of which I have completed almost five now.
From left to right: The Sword masters of Hoeth, The phoenix Guard, Regiment of spear men, another regiment of spear
men and a regiment of archers. The photo in the middle shows 2 models of a regiment I’m working on at the moment.
The Tree on the shield is related to me because my last name is Boom. This is the Dutch word for tree.
The cavalry:
One of three chariots is finished. The Elven King, leader of my army is also ready. His royal guards, “The Princes of
Caledor” are finished as well. Leaves me two chariots and two regiments of cavalry to paint. The Chariot was a real fun
peace to paint. Lots of detail with a certain Egyptian touch. Sounds weird but for me the best part of this model is the
edge on the green cloak of the rider with it’s black and white blocks and red underline. The cloak on the horse of my army
leader was quite a paint job but rewarding. The red at the bottom makes this cloak more pleasant to the eye. Most of the
time on the Caledor regiment went into the details like shields and banners. Took me about 12 hours to paint one Caledor
horsemen.
The Heroes:
This group of special characters mostly dress up my war game table. I seldom use them in battles because of the points cost.
The female mage on her Unicorn is the most usable because of her spell casting. I could tell you a lot about how I paint
the models but I suggest you just take a look. The 3 large monsters took me more than 20 hours per model to paint.
The great dragon is the largest monster of my army that still needs to be painted.
